We are staying in a military area - Camp Lejeune is just a few miles up the coast. The sky rumbles with the sound of helicopters quite often.

On Tuesday, this aircraft flew over quite a few times. Fascinating. I love airplanes and have taken more unrecognizable photos of planes than you can shake the proverbial stick at. Luckily, digital cameras have that handy delete button. Incidentally, Gary took this picture - I kept missing it!! Posted by Picasa

Terry says to watch out in case the Marines make a beach landing in war games :) Apparently they landed at Virginia Beach that way one time by mistake. He also says that for something to do you can take the trip to New Bern and ride the elevator to the second floor of Belk's Department Store. It seems that was a big deal whe he lived there! Sounds like you're having fun--keep it up!
